    Sign up and create your business

    Name, country, currency and time zone. Your trial starts at once — no card, nothing to install.

  2. Step 2· 5 min

    Add your shop, registers and staff

    One location per shop, the registers (counters) in it, and a login for each person with what they may do.

  3. Step 3· 30 min · for a first 100 items by CSV

    Add or import your stock

    Import a spreadsheet or add pieces one by one: serials, metal, karat, weights, stones, certificate numbers, tray locations.

  4. Step 4· 1 min

    Start selling — your store is live

    Open the register on a computer, tablet or phone. The online store is generated from the products you just added.

Sign up and create your business

You create an owner login and the business. Choose the currency and tax settings for your market: US sales tax rates by location, UAE 5% VAT with prices shown tax-inclusive, or Pakistan sales tax. These can be changed later.

  • Store name as on your trade licence or receipts

  • Your tax registration number if you print it on invoices

Add your shop, registers and staff

Each location gets its own invoice layout, receipt language and tax settings. Roles decide who can discount, see cost, edit products or close the register — set them before the first sale, not after a mistake.

  • Names of staff who sell, repair or manage
  • Who may give discounts, void sales or see cost

Add or import your stock

The import maps your columns to product fields. Gold pieces get weight and karat so their price follows the rate you enter; diamonds keep their certificate lab and report number. Help importing is free — send the file and we check it with you.

  • Photos, if you want them in the online store

Start selling — your store is live

Sell, take a layaway deposit, log a repair. Turn on the online store and share the link. At close, count the register and the trays — the reports are ready the moment the day ends.

Set-up questions

How long does it take to set up GetJewelryPOS?

About 38 minutes of hands-on time for a single shop with a first 100 items imported by spreadsheet. Larger catalogues take longer to clean up, not to import.

Do I need to install software or a server?

No. GetJewelryPOS is hosted; it runs in a browser on Windows, Mac, iPad, Android tablets and phones. There is nothing to install and no server in your shop.

Can I set up during business hours?

Yes. Most owners set up in an afternoon and keep selling on their old system until the import is checked. Switch over at the start of a day.

What if my stock list is messy?

Send it to us. We help map columns, flag duplicates and missing weights, and tell you what to fix before importing. That help is free.

Can I enter old repairs and layaways?

Yes. Open repair jobs and running layaways can be entered with their deposits and balances, so nothing is lost on switch-over day.

Do I need new hardware?

Usually not. Most USB or network receipt printers, barcode scanners and label printers work. See the hardware guide for what to check.

When does the online store go live?

When you turn it on. It is generated from the products you have added, so it can go live minutes after your import.

What happens at the end of the trial?

Nothing is charged until you choose a plan. Your data stays for you to pick up where you left off.
